As the entire frame is made from bamboo, which is a harvested grass, the bike is very eco-friendly. A Mexican startup, SUEMA,  along with a public production market in Milpa Alta, collects the used cactus waste and converts it into biogas after some treatment and uses the biogas to power the market completely. All these instances are an insight to the development of energy harvesting in the country.
